I thought I enjoy #programming and took pride in good code-smithing, but since agentic AI I learned that what I actually like is designing and creating systems. Before, programming was the fastest path from idea to working thing. Now, #AI is.The difference between using AI like a delicate instrument and creating slop is knowing exactly what you are doing, where you are going and how to get there and I don't see it replacing competent technical specialists or truly creative people anytime soon.
