Users can enable this appearance from COSMIC Settings, configure glass opacity and frost thickness, or retain the previous solid style. Adoption in applications depends on developers updating to the latest libcosmic library for compatibility. GPU management has also been improved. COSMIC Monitor can now suspend NVIDIA graphics cards more reliably, calculate power usage for AMD and Intel GPUs, and display GPU power consumption and total VRAM. It also tracks memory usage on Intel GPUs, while the app launcher now defaults to the discrete GPU for supported applications.
