I fast because it hurts when I am too heavy. I walk because the body needs #movement I meditate because disorder is painful. There is no halo around any of it.For years, I have lived with the aftermath of a major stroke, hemiplegia, weight, discomfort, and all the indignities that come with a damaged body. None of it was beautiful. None of it was noble. It was simply what had happened.After enough years of suffering, I began to see that the body was giving me facts.Breathe. Move. Rest. Eat less.
