This release introduces a major enhancement to its renaming feature: users can now include file metadata in multi-renaming operations. By accessing embedded data from photos, videos, documents, or audio files, ForkLift enables users to apply structured naming schemes automatically. As a result, photo libraries become more readable and are easier to navigate, with images organized chronologically and music libraries kept consistently named without manual effort. Building on workflow improvements, ForkLift now displays Server Message Block (SMB) share names in the same manner as Finder, bringing greater consistency to network folder browsing across macOS tools.
