Anthropic has launched Imagine with Claude, a new feature that lets Claude generate visuals in real time without requiring any code. With this update, users can now see Claude produce custom charts, diagrams, and other visualizations directly within its written responses. These visuals are dynamic, letting users request modifications or refinements as the conversation continues. Unlike traditional artifacts, permanent documents or tools meant for sharing, these new visuals are temporary and are designed to help clarify topics being discussed. They appear inline during the chat and will update, change, or disappear as the conversation evolves, rather than being stored on the side or saved for later. Following the feature rollout, the inline visual generation is enabled by default for all users.
