@tankgrrl Let me guess, not an Ai user?I hear this narrative of "AI is not inevitable" from folks who don't use it.When you have integrated the machine into your workflows, and/or are actually are experiencing the x10 and/or doing work you previously would not even attempt as too hard/too time consuming it's not "not inevitable".It's here.On your box. You're using it.Now.It's making a difference, for you. It's not an abstract "I'm not going to use it ever because it eats babies".It's very easy to say "It's never gonna happen" if you're not interested and don't see the benefits. Not saying it's all roses, but you likely drive a car, fly on holidays and wear synthetics. So you've already made planet destroying decisions you're cool with because it makes your life easier. Transport is a bigger #polluter than #Ai by an order of magnitude. The binary response of "Smash the machine" is not productive where nuance of #regulateAi exists.#climatecatastrophe
