@idlestate I didn't suggest you weren't serious. I suggested perhaps you were rude, disingenuous, & condescending on purpose rather than by accident. It's still not clear if it's intentional or not.There is no straw-thing here. Folks in our community are freaking out about waste produced by #LLM-backed gen #AI. We are so rarely thinking about bigger waste that capitalism is doing b/c LLM-gen-AI is so much a part of our daily experience.I've fallen into it myself, which was the point of OP.
