Microsoft introduces Xbox backward compatibility on PC, starting with 4 Xbox classic games

Microsoft has launched Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC, bringing classic console games to modern Windows 11 systems for the first time. The initial lineup includes four original Xbox titles: BLiNX: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy. All four are available for individual purchase through the Xbox desktop app, included with every Xbox Game Pass plan, and support Xbox Play Anywhere, giving existing digital owners access to the PC versions at no extra cost. Achievement support is not available at launch but is listed as one of the features planned for a future update. The PC releases also add modern graphics options, including resolution upscaling, V-Sync, fullscreen and windowed modes, anisotropic filtering, and improved anti-aliasing.
