"Hallucination", for example, has been wrenched from its proper psychological context (and just think of how many #tech geeks imagine that they've mastered the mysteries of the human brain merely because they morbidly read about mental illnesses and "forensic psychology") in order to describe a phenomenon in "generative #AI" that is not anything like real hallucination.Instead LLMs confabulate, like Donald Trump giving a meandering speech full of weird digressions and lapses into fantasy.
