I am a bit skeptical (shocker) about this '80 year old planar points problem' claim from openai.So many such claims were made over the past years which turned out to be things embedded in the training data noticeably surfacing after a certain parameter threshold is passed.I have a suspicion that this one will turn out to be an internet forum or some obscure mathematics professor no one took seriously having solved or at least paved the way to solve it the records of which somehow got into the training data.We'll see I guess.#AI #LLMs
