I'm browsing my Twitter archive, which almost entirely predates Elon's purchase.I wasn't expecting this going in, but I found something deeply troubling:No AI. Every video that looks remotely real is either authentic or Hollywood CGI. Every picture is a photograph, photoshop, or drawing by a human. Every bit of text was written by a human being.I still believe #AI has uses [1], but if given the chance to revert to a pre-ChatGPT world, I would take it in a heartbeat. I've seen decent AI art, but I've never seen AI art change my life the way human-made art has. I can imagine a human-directed AI machine eventually producing lifechanging art. But a machine on its own will never know what it is to be human.1: Debugging and narrowing down this flaw would be much harder without AI. In the span of hours I have theoretically isolated the bug to just one part of the boot code. This is on a platform with almost no direct support and a big, undocumented codebase.https://github.com/armbian/build/is...
