With this update, a wide selection of titles has become playable, including Universe Generator: The Golden Sword, DCS World Steam Edition, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, Dino Crisis, Dino Crisis 2, From Dust, Metal Gear Survive, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Gothic 1 Classic, and X-Plane 12. Following these compatibility gains, Proton 11.0 introduces a major technical update by rebasing the software on Wine 11.0, a key component underlying Windows-compatibility on Linux.
