OpenProject 17.6 is now available as the latest release of this open source project management platform. This update delivers a first milestone integration with XWiki, allowing users to link and reference work packages directly on XWiki pages, create and link wiki pages from within OpenProject, and track cross-platform references. Developed with input from the XWiki team, the integration brings project management and enterprise knowledge management closer together within a single ecosystem. Further enhancing agile workflows, teams using the Backlogs module gain new support for sprint goals to clarify the purpose of each sprint. A new all-sprints overview offers greater visibility across ongoing and completed iterations, while backlog buckets can now be managed directly from both work packages and work package tables for streamlined organization.
