Claude is expanding Claude Cowork beyond its original desktop app, with a beta rollout now reaching web and mobile for Claude Max subscribers. The feature is available on Android, iOS, and the web, with support for more plans expected in the coming weeks. Users who update the Claude app on Android or iOS will find a new Cowork tab in the sidebar. With this update users can start a task on desktop, then monitor progress or approve next steps from their phone. Mobile notifications appear when Claude needs human judgment or permission before continuing, keeping users in control before any output is completed or submitted. However, this does not allow Claude to automate actions directly on mobile devices, since the phone mainly serves as a way to review and manage tasks launched elsewhere.
