People who say that open weights models are "open source" Fine, idc about the licensing personally (professional and commercial stuff is a separate matter). I don't care if you took stuff from the open web and failed at crediting people, or didn't even try to. Anything on the web is effectively public commons (not saying that you shouldn't credit people online, and again, professional and commercial usage is out of scope). I DO CARE about you making it accessible and easily usable by a normie. You giving the weights is like a distro giving me the source code of linux kernel and asking me to compile it myself.
