In Meta AI + WhatsApp, Delete is UI-only. When you clear a chat you’ve deemed no longer necessary, the thread disappears from your phone, but Meta AI keeps it in server-side memory and can still retrieve it via context search. From a DPO/GDPR view, that’s a direct clash with Art. 17: the right to erasure.
