Jess Asato MP has launched a legal action against xAI which has facilitated Grok users producing exploitative sexualised images of the MP without her consent.The key legal issue is whether a company (in this case X) can be held responsible for the images & content that it creates.This case parallels a similar case brought by Ashley St Clair (mother of one of Elon Musk's many children) in New York.If Asato loses then AI's impunity will be worryingly bolstered.#AI #politics h/t FT
